I am doing a report on Ms. Havisham, (from Great Expectations by Charles Dickens), and i need help with these questions. If you can answer any of them it would be really helpful, thanx :)

voice quality?
occupation?--does she really have one?

I don't believe her age is specified, nor is her 'voice quality' explored a lot. Her occupation is being a lady--being rich, basically. She's cut herself off from teh world and entombed herself into the single worst moment of her life, so she has no friends. Her companion is Estella, who she breeds into a maneater, and for awhile, Pip.

If I had to compare her to an animal...it'd be a buzzard. She seems sincerely buzzard-like to me, surrounded by all that decay.
