Yes, she did two weird things, she called him "baby" and she signed it "love". It's weird since he is married.
If he were single and it was more of a humorous card without the "baby" reference maybe "love" would be OK if they are friends, but what you described sounds weird.

First of all it is unusual to send a New Year card. Second your husband was addressed as "baby love". The card was only for him, and he is a married man. There are RED FLAGS all over this card. I would confront this woman and get an explanation!

If she knows you.......she should've addressed the card to both of you or "husbands name" and family. Keep an eye out
