i like this girl and today one of my friends were kidding around in class and asking me to ask her out. they called her over and i asked her out in a joking way and she started to laugh ( not in a rude way) and asked me if i was serious and i said no. after class she stoped me and asked again if i was seriouse. before i could answer she said " because i wouldent want to make you feel bad or anything" what does she mean

She probably means "i wouldn't want to make you feel bad by not giving you a serious answer to a question that you were serious about." That doesn't necessarily mean that she'll say "yes," though.
