Like, it won't be someone pretending to be him [to cash in], will it?

About 20 years ago my dad owned a text book called Gray' s Anatomy. A very thick book about the human body. definitely nothing to do with the now popular tv series.

If you want to buy Grey's Anatomy, then it shouldn't be hard to find at the bookstore. That's the name of the book. I don't think there's any fakes of it out there.

Way back when (a century, or two, or three) this doctor name Grey dissected enough people to make an honest-to-goodness book on the human body - bone by bone, muscle by muscle, organ by organ. The first, and still authoritative anatomy book. Over the year's it's been updated, but, seriously? That's the real book. I'd be grossed out to get it for Christmas. My Dad, who also loves the show (although heaven knows why lol), would probably spend his second Christmas laughing all day. He did that once before. I had just moved out of his house on my own and my younger brother was 12-13 years old, and got it in his head I was dirt poor. (I wasn't.) Someone threw out an old fake Christmas tree without a stand, so he brought it home and wrapped it for me, thinking I couldn't afford my own tree. (We grew up with nothing but live trees, so he didn't know fake trees needed stands, in his defense.) Dad laughed all day. Tears streamed out of his eyes. I felt so bad for my brother, because he really meant something nice. BUT, that's about the best reaction you could expect from your Mom. ;)
