The 30's and 40's. It was the most rich and distinguished looking and figure flattering designs. Fedora hats and zuit suits and peplum dresses. Todays fashions are NOT figure flattering...just the opposite, actually. Girls that don't care if their "rolls" hang out over their hip hugger jeans~that are all frayed on the bottom of the legs. Shirts that are 2 sizes too small are NOT flattering!

There are some cool things about many of the decades. The 1940s had some glamorous (but no frills), classic clothing for both men and women that was probably related to the country pulling together during a war time period. The 1960s and 1970s had some "hippie chick" clothes for girls/women that were hot, but the guys stuff was kinda weak. The 1980s was mostly hideous. The 1990s had the grunge and re-emergence of the 1970s look in an updated, cooler way.

The 80's was the era of fashion-super models sported every page of every magazine-they wore; you wanted; you got it. I also think the 40's just beautiful glamorous days. I also love the 60's with their long hair-simple style with long eye lashes and hair-Priscilla Presley if you will

i, hehe, loveed the like prideandprejudice days. i would have loved to have to wear a dress everyday..such elabrote colors and fabrics. and patterns. and layers. though i would like to take a bath everyday and such.
OH! or the 80's. so efffing FUN!

i say the 40s-50s....everything in those times was about beauty...
a woman looked good without having to show her whole body off..
curves were appreciated....
damn i wish things were like that nowadays
