Being a gay or lesbian is being cross the line in many cultures, but people are starting to respect it, so do you think that one day people will respect this kind of relationships as well?

I'm going to stay here even longer just because you said that, and I am going to read all the answers.

It's called INCEST. Two consenting adults can already do anything they want to do in private -- it's been that way for several years, in most western countries -- so what's your point?

You're already related as next-of-kin to your sister, so if you and her decide to shack up, what civil rights would you like to have? What is it that you want, exactly?

Everyone saying that it's "gross" must have sisters, and their "bonding" mechanism is doing its job, the built-in safety device that keeps siblings (and parents and children) from being attracted to each other. I don't have any siblings and don't see what the problem is, especially with same sex siblings (brother-sister "monster" babies are a myth).

Because of the bonding thing, society will never be able to accept or comprehend sibcest no matter how liberal it gets over homosexuality. They're just physically wired to reject the concept and can never understand how sometimes the bond doesn't develop or isn't that strong and mutual attraction can develop. They think it's disgusting for physical reasons, not for the cultural reasons that they have trouble with homosexuality.

Well for starters you need to accept your sister for who she is. And realize that on that day, she will finally be bonded forever with her soul mate. This is probably going to be one of the best days of her life. I can see where you are coming from though, about it being a little strange.. But everyone is different, and whether you like it or not, u need to be there for her and support her and her relationship.

being a lesbian is fine. however it is crossing the line to have sex with a family member. it causes alot of health problems. i mean look at the royal historical family's, they didn't exactly turn out that nice.

Sorry but I am a firm believer that you shouldn't get into romantic relationships with relatives.

That's incest and it's gross. There are plenty of lesbian and bisexual women. Why must another girl be with her sister???

Not in our culture, they're SISTERS.
Come on, stop with the "sounds ligit" questions, because they're not.
