i like a lot of horror flicks from many of its sub-genres. Recent favs would be the Saw films, Resident Evil (the first one, not the second) 28 days later, and Wolf Creek. Older films like the original Night of the Living Dead (1968) and the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) the Thing (1982) Alien (1979) Aliens (1985?), Evil Dead, Evil Dead II and probably a few others that i can't think of right now.

A classic film "The Fog." that is very scary. Not so much gruesome but for the mental horror. Giving me shivers now. lol

Final Destination, the original, is a super-cool horror, scary movie about death's design- and toiling with it. the main character, Alex brown, predicts the explosion of his high school french class's plane, (that nobody believes will occur) leading him, their teacher, and some of his friends and enemies of the plane, escaping death.... but their lives being hunted for after the escape by the order they were sitting in on the plane. it's a true thriller with awesome suspense, scary, gory deaths, drama, and real life scenarios, while you want to know how the next person will die after death's wind blows through. anyone who hasn't watched this movie MUST SEE IT!!!!!!! i give it five stars!

1. " THE TINGLER" with Vincent Price - about a Crawling spinal cord that attacks people
2. " Killer Klowns from Outer Space " - about monster clowns that land on earth and kill humans .
3. " The Evil Dead " - about teen-agers who go into the woods for the week-end, and bunk down in a haunted cabin .

Hannibal with Anthony Hopkins and Julianne Moore. It is horrific because Hannibal Lector looks like everyone else and is a brilliant psychologist, but he is actually a psychotic cannibal killer.
