If you do...I want to know if you have actually taken the time to look at any of the documentaries by Alex Jones like those found on infowars.com and prisonplanet.com...or other documentaries by others of like mind? Or have you read any of the articles on the same subjects?

If you look at several of these documentaries, and read several of these, with an open mind, and you still remain unconvinced that they at least merit further, indepth, and unbiased investigation, then I have to repect your opinion, even if we disagree!

But, I CANNOT repect the opinion of anyone who scoffs without even looking deeper, and trying to honestly find the real truth.

I never said Alex Jones is the best I can do!!! I have come across many documentaries but I haven't had time to look at all of them yet! I have also come across countless articles, and I haven't had time to read them all yet!! I am still doing research, still looking for the real truth, and disregarding nothing! Much of the information is very persuasive to many open minded people...myself included!!

I asked this question becasue I wanted to find out how maqny of the scoffers are just dismissing these "theories" out of hand, without looking deeper; and how many scoffers have actually looked into these ideas fairly and deeply before they decided to dismiss them!!!

Silent jea...you sound angry! I understand your frustration, but you need not be angry with me, I agree with you! I am just trying to get to the bottom of why the scoffers scoff!

no I don't just because neocons and misinformed people want to call it a conspiacy and yell louder so others can't hear what they have to say doesn't make it a conspiracy. If people actually read beyond the brainwashing nonsense being pumped out 24/7 and learned to think for themself you would see its not a conspiracy its the truth. wake up.

I have watched them all, but having a IQ over 175 refuse to believe such garbage. Also, I have read the 9/11 reports and saw the Discovery channel special.
I worked in Explosives for over 10 years in thye military and have blown up a lot of stuff. Trust me when I say the planes and fire weakened the steel and that is what caused the towers to collapse.

I have looked at many so called conspiracy theories with an open mind. Many are easily proved wrong, while some leave you shaking your head and wondering, could that even possible be true??

I do not scoff at them, especially if it appears they have spent time investigating the situation. At least they are doing some research as opposed to simply repeating what they have heard on the radio.

And I do agree with you, if you haven't looked into it with an open mind, you haven't earned the right to scoff. If you have, scoff away...

Alex Jones is the best you can do? Eric Von Dainekken was more believable. Keep in mind the key word is Theory. Let them prove something, then we can believe it. Every one of these conspiracies I have heard has been the result of an over active imagination and an over active editing program.

YES, I scoff.

I scoffed at The Bell Curve too, although I never read it.

I respect the opinion of people who have some capability to filter out ridiculousness, and who can tell logic and evidence from lunacy.

Life is short - focus on important and worthwhile matters.

"Looking deeper" is not to be applauded when the object of one's gaze is an open sewer.

You should never forget that the simplest explanation is more often the the truth. Grand schemes are very difficult to pull off without someone leaking.

I guess then that you will show me no respect. Respect by the way, is a noun, not an verb. The credibility of your quoted resources is anything but legit, It's like Michael what's his face. Sorry, but I have to go with my higher level of education and stick to varifiable facts. Subjective and conjecture only make for good fiction.

I don't eat dogcrap because I don't have to eat it to know it tastes awful and can affect my health. Same reason I blow off idiot conspiracy theorists and their lies - all I had to do was see the lunatic zealotry of the "true believers" on here to see that sane people didn't "eat the dogpoop".

I have seen some of this garbage...by accident I might add.
It just proves to me that terrorists are working hard to divide our country. Thankfully most Americans are smarter than that.
I don't scoff at conspiracy theorists...I loathe them.

"Documentaries"? Is that what they call it? This stuff is hardly unbiased.

I don't scoff at conspiracy theorists, I pity them.
