I am a tropical fish breeder. I think you are feeding your fish just a little too much. Since you only have two mollies I suggest you feed them twice a day with enough food they consume within 1 to 2 minutes. If you can I suggest you get a 10 gallon aquarium and more fish. Mollies are very social fish and do best in small groups.

Give the mollies two very small feedings, and if you haven't done it recently, change some of the water.(10 or 20 %) If you are concerned about enough food being available hang a slice of blanched zucchini or lettuce or spinach in the tank. The blanching will make it soft enough for the fish to easily tear up. Another slightly messier method is to thaw some frozen peas and gently smash them on the side of the tank.Whatever you feed like this, it shouldn't remain in the tank overnight. Siphon the left-overs out.To blanch a veggie take a thin(1/4") slice and drop it into boiling water for 2 minutes, and then immediately run cold water over it to stop the cooking. With lettuce or spinach just use one whole leaf. The mollies will pick at the veggies all day. Wardley Flakes are OK food, but don't put a bunch in the tank at one time, small, small ,small, wee tiny feedings. Think about how much that tiny little fish's tummy can hold. Good luck,PeeTee.

Mollis die really easily. They try to eat from the bottom and tear their mouths. Also they need more room. Do you have a filter and air? You should go buy a 100 dollar starter kit that has a ten to fifteen gallon tank. Yes that is a little too much food. Just a little less but twice a day still. The food could be making tank dirty. It should be cleaned weekly. 20-50% of the water. Only do 50% once a month.

It relies upon on their age. Fry and turning out to be fish should be feed smaller nutrients, more effective in many cases for optimal develop and progression. Fish that are totally grown you may feed one or 2 cases on a daily basis. That being stated, youthful fish can regularly get by technique of being fed in basic terms once an afternoon yet they are going to growly more effective slowly than they in the different case might want to. in basic terms be confident you're not any further overfeeding and get rid of added nutrients no longer eaten after a couple of minutes. With fish which have reached their maximum length, that is not a nasty idea to quick your fish for twenty-four hours each once in a lengthy time period to grant their digestive structures a spoil.

If there is some left over after 2 minutes, feed less next time, until you get the amoutn worked out
