ive been sittting there for maybe 3 months now and the people there dont like me. whenever i go to sit down, they stare at me then go back tot talking. I usually dont talk becuase im shy and im scared ill say something they dont like. They havent really minded me since yseterday when one guy said,"why do you keep trying to sit here?". WHat does this mean and what should i do? tehre really isn't any other place to sit in the cafiteria, non of my friends are in this lunch.

then change to another table if thy dont like you then **** um you dont need to be trying to be there friends if there acting like that with you.i had the same problem u know whut i did.i just got up and walked away and met new friends.i dident need to hang out with peple who dident like me .dont keep on tying to be there riends if thy dont like you thy never will...................................

Okay, first off, even though you're shy and I know it's hard, it's impossible to please everyone so you should just be yourself and talk to people even if you're worried they won't like what you say. People who try to make everyone happy become like oatmeal-kinda bland. And about the current situation. You have two options basically. One, ask them why they don't want you sitting there, and two, just sit somewhere else, maybe try and find some other group who will be more welcoming. I would suggest the second option personally, why sit with grumpy people:) And if all else fails, get a book or something and sit by yourself. No one will notice or care and you'll learn how to enjoy being alone, which is necessary in life. Good luck:)

I guess you are talking about school cafeteria? No one owns the table so you can sit anywhere you want. Learn to start talking to other and try to work on you shyness. Go to the school principal and let him/her know what is going on in the cafeteria.

well its obvious that they dont want you there so i think u should try to move to a new area...there is alway somewhere else to sit in the cafeteria, u dnt have to sit there cuz that would jus make it awkward for u n for them...

hey kiddo...you tell the next stupid s.o.b. that says that to you .....that he can kiss your as*s, the table was paid for by your parents taxes also (what better way to get over that shyness!)
You know how I overcame my shyness as a kid...I became obnoxious, and it works....get a mindset that you could care less what the idiots think....

well... in in school to and going through the same thing. what i do is bring a cd player and occupy myself. but watch your back teens can be VERY vicious
