write them a letter telling how much they mean to you
if it is from the heart and true
they will be truely touched

if you are a really good poet
a poem will work too
but i only suggest that if you are REALLY REALLY good

Make them a card, and attach it to some type of items that they would both use. If you can't think of anything, make something for both of them. You didn't state any interests of theirs, so I can't help you out in detail.
Mom is always the easy one...you could go buy her a small basket, and get various beauty items to out in it. Place some raffia in the bottom and wrap it in cellophane or just top it with a bauble.
Dad...this is where it gets harder...pick an interest of his and focus on it...golf, racing, whatever - just get or make something that he can use or appreciate. I really wish you had given interests. You can email me if you want with more info and I can try to help you further. :)
Any way you go, though...just give something (even if it's small) that took some thought, it means much more than a gift card somewhere (unless that's what they wanted, of course). Take care!

I'm pretty sure mom and dad's been wanting something... They usually go.. oh man, that portable DVD player will look awesome in our car, or that flat TV (maybe too expensive) or if mom and dad have been looking at an old crappy monitor, get them a flat screen, or a new pair of shoes if they've been wearing the same old crappy shoes.... If you're mom and dad are rich, then you're pretty much screwed. If you're 30, bringing a boyfriend home.... just to give you some ideas... hope it helps.

A card telling them how much you love them, you don't even need to spend money on this you can download it on-line. Help them around the house with out being told to. Make them a special surprise dinner.
It all has to do with how old you are.

You could make a collage of some kind. Take items from you childhood that might be stored away in boxes. You could use a form of shadow box frame that is a couple inches deep.

Good luck with your project.

Trust me...as a mom, no matter what you do, they will keep it until you are old and grown. My mom passed away 2 years ago, and I was staying over with my dad ( Im 38) and I found a shoe box with everything my brother and I made/gave her.
Dont sweat it, they will love anything.

find a picture of the family and framing it.......or better yet doing a collage of family pictures and creating an accent wall for it would be nice. on top u can also get a paint marker and put a quote or poem about family/parents.

I would surprise them by something nice for them, before they ask or get the chance to do it them self. Do this each day, but keep your self anonymous. I know it's tempting to want the praise, but they will see your selflessness if you don't.

Good luck!

How niceeeee of you. your such a sweet person.

Ummm... i don't know... you know them better than any of us. What are their interests??? Then work from there. If it's going to be something special then if we answer, we will just give you general things to do for them.
