I have a red 05 Red Honda Civic and someone hit my car in the walmart parking lot. I have some white/yellow transferred paint on my car. Not much, but its ugly. How do I safely remove this, without costing me too much? THANKS!

I assume that you don't have a buffer. Go to an auto parts store and tell them that you want buffing compound (some people will call it "cut")or scratch remover...they are basically the same thing. Put it onto a rag...you'll have to apply it to a small enough spot on your rag where you can really apply a lot of pressure...probably with one finger. Then you rub it in a small circular motion. It should take you no more than 10 minutes and cost you no more than 5 bucks. After you are done with this, put wax on that area, smile, walk back to your computer, type yahoo.com into the URL. Go to questions/answers. Go to this answer and click "best answer" because this will work.

There are alot of issues which would be utilized to get rid of paint. A vandal is many times going to apply brakefluid or paint thinner, because of the fact maximum paint removers are going to have a shade to them, and brake fluid and paint thinner take awhile to circulate to pot the paint to a noticable point so that's extra durable to hint down who did it. Acids that are used to get rid of paint are puzzling to return by so because it is not a possibly selection except you pissed somebody off that works at a physique shop.

first off, don't be afraid to walk into wal mart. the front door is often NOT the best parking place. to remove the paint, you can try this (i did it on a rental and it worked!) GENTLY rub a pice of steel wool on the paint that does not belong to you. the key word is GENTLY. also, a fingernail rubbed GENTLY can do the trick, but those are bush league fixes. to have it done right, go to a good paint man

make a water/gasoline mixture and spray it onto the paint. then wipe it off. use a razor blade for the tough parts.

Real simple, just use rubbing compound. It's cheap and works really well.
