Well there are a few options.

1) Wireless: There may be a public node operating near you or you may be able to share the costs with a neighbor.

2) If you have Cable TV you can usually get internet service and run that to a wireless router (see #1).

3) Cell phone. You can use your cell phone for dialup service. It can link to your computer's modem via bluetooth, wireless, or a hardwire cable.

4) You can purchase a wireless network card (Sprint, among others, offers the card). Using that you can link in anywhere within the carriers calling area without any wires or further hassels.

Options 3 and 4 will likely run up minute and kb charges so be sure you understand the potential costs before comitting to use that.

ok??

Are you talking laptop? If your laptop has a wireless card, then you can usually get to the internet free from various "hot spots" like internet cafes and such, or broadband by hooking up a cable in a motel...if you're talking about wireless access anywhere in the world, then yer talking expensive as heck (like Verizon charges nearly $80 per month in our neighborhood, and you get a little card you jam in the side of your laptop and get it that way...)

Are you talking cell phone access to the web? Verizon'll let you look at web pages for I think $5 per month. Get used to typing letters on that there numeric keypad?
