business. My ISP wants way too much money for what I do. I am just getting started, so there is not much activity at this time. I was told by my ISP that my email was for personal use only...but their business email program was too exspensive for me.I am looking for something that doesn't end in a .net If it helps I sell retail gifts.

Adobe Photoshop C S3 is suppose to set the standard for the industry, at over $600 for the package it should. Adobe Photoshop Element 3 is a good choice at around $80. Corel Paint Shop Pro X2 is suppose to very good and highly recommended for ease of use for beginners more so than Adobe. We use the Adobe, HP Photosmart Essential, which you can find on HP'S sight free, and Canon's PhotoStich. The Canon product just has the basic features, where the Adobe and Corel have advanced features and functionality. The HP is in between the two more advanced feature products, but it is free too. The Canon rapid browser utility is excellent for rapidly organizing numerous shots into groups or dates, or customized folders. I would start with the HP and then explore the others after you become accustomed to it. Good luck.

There's a really good one at http://ewebsmith.com that you can download for free. The free version will send out 100 individually addressed emails at a time but you can que a number of these. You have to have pop3 access. A number of free email sites offer these. You can upgrade to the basic package for about $100 which does not have limitations on the number of names per email.

You can use AOL email. What is neat about it is that you can get it at your own domain name. You can get an address where you pick both your screen name and the @ part.

YourName@yourname.com

It is a neat feature so people don't really have to know that you are a cheapskate, lol.

You could always use gmail too, but I don't like the fact that they datamine your emails.

I don't think hotmail gives you as much space as the others.
AOL mail gives you 2 gigabytes and Gmail gives you about 2.7 gigabytes.

Does your online business have a website? I'm assuming it must have - ....in which case, you smust also have a hosting company - hosting companies usually provide you with anything from 100 to 1000 email addresses of your own choice.

So......say your website is called www.specialgiftsetc.com ..... you can set up your own personalised domain name email addresses, for example - sales@specialgiftsetc.com, customerservice@specialgiftsetc.com etc

You would also be provided with a web address for logging into your email accounts.

I suggest you contact your hosting company or check-out their faq's page, to find instructions on how to set it up.

I have a small company myself, and we use gmail.com, it's through google. I've never had a problem with using it as a company email. Remember that with this type of service, that all your addresses with end with gmail.com. example: jim.smith@gmail.com. Hope this will help you and good luck!
