What do they do in a power station when theres a power cut in the area. Have they got a big cupboard full of candles...?????

Power cuts usually occur outside of a power station usually at the grid contactors that feed the high voltage into the grid system.

Each power station has a number of generators each synchronised to be 'in phase' with each other and despite a 'power cut' they do not stop turning so the power station itself always has power.

They can take power off the grid, or start a generator.

Power stations only employ blind people so they don't need lights anyway
