Here's what I think, wear them for her and if you like them, start wearing them for you.

I’ve posted this before and I’ll do it again:

I'm a guy and I wear thongs and sometimes boxer briefs. I don’t wear thongs because of their looks or because I care about what fashion designers and fashion critics think that is “in” or “out.“ In fact, I agree with women when they say that boxers briefs are the best looking underwear for men. I would go as far as to say that there aren’t a lot of men that have the nice round butt to look good in them. Since I wear all of my underwear under my pants or shorts and I don’t walk around in my underwear, especially in public, I pick my underwear based on comfort and not what’s fashionable.

I wear thongs because of their unmatched support and because I personally think that thongs are the most comfortable type of underwear you can wear. Thongs give me the best support, in particular during sport activities, almost as if I was wearing a jock strap but a WHOLE LOT more comfortable. Once you have picked the right size and material and you’ve worn them for a little while, they feel so comfortable that you don’t even feel them.

I don't mean to discuss anyone, but for me, a huge reason why I love them so much is because they help prevent what I call “SBS” (Sticky Balls Syndrome), which is the sticky feeling that comes from your sweaty balls touching your inner thighs. I think that sticky sensation is very uncomfortable! With the right thongs, you don't suffer from SBS. I don't know how most guys can live with SBS. I guess they don’t know any better. I didn’t and I would still be in the dark it if wasn’t for an ex-girlfriend who literally made me wear them for a couple of weeks to try them out. All I can say is that once you go with no SBS for a while, you never want to go back to it.

Some people feel that men shouldn't wear thongs, but I don't see why not. People put too much importance on underwear. I guess that some people are homophobic and think that men who wear thongs are gay or feminine, as if the type of underwear you wear makes you more or less of a man. Dhaaa! I don’t suffer from homophobia, and I’m too secure about my masculinity and sexuality to worry about little stuff like that.

Ironically, there's a western gay bar by my home. You should see some of the guys that go in and out of that place. Some look gay (totally feminine), some look like any other guy walking down the street, but some look all super and I mean SUPER macho men. They look all tuff wearing their western outfits. Now, I’m not talking about some skinny guys, I’m talking about some well build guys. Football player build type or bull rider type. They look totally, 100%, MANLY MEN…and yet, they are gay! Clothes in general, in particular underwear, DO NOT make a man! If an underwear makes you insecure about your sexuality and who you are as a man, then I can only wonder how insecure you really are about other aspects of your life.

Hey there. No it's not weird at all, in fact once you get used to wearing a thong you'll really like them. I prefer "going cowboy" but need a little support...thongs do this. It feels especially good to wear a thong under sweats or jeans. If your girlfriend gave them to you then definetly wear them for her, she'll love it. As for the gym...well, is it really any different from a jock strap when you think about it??? Other guys may rib you but so what...at least you have a girlfriend to give you a thong!!! Let me know what you think...Mike

personally, I don't like thongs, even on women. I would wear them for her when y'all are fooling around, but if you wear them to the gym, I would expect some major ball busting. Do what feels right for you, of course, but I wouldn't.

Men wear thongs over here in Australia all the time!!..... although probably not the kind you are referring to :)

Personally, I find men in skimpy underwear a complete turn-off. Obviously your girl is turned on by it though, strangely, so wear it for her if you are comfortable enough to do so... but please, save it for the bedroom. We don't wanna see a hint of thong peeping over your shorts at the gym!

Wear them when you go out with your girlfriend. She obviously likes your butt and wants to see more of it.

Unless you're a dancer or a bodybuilder, they're probably too revealing for the gym and elsewhere. Do you really want the guys in the lockerroom to look at your buns?

Don't wear them out anywhere. Wear them in front of her if you have to but don't wear them out. I don't know what your girlfriend was thinking. I will only buy my husband boxers. Thongs on a man- not sexy.

If you like them I guess, but I'm a chic and I WOULDNT find that attractive! If a guy came up to me and told me he was in a thong I would think he was gay.

Ew. I'd go with no, but if it's something that your girlfriend wants, and you're not really sure about, then just wear it around her...in the privacy of your own home.

How are you going to wear a thong you gay bastard, dont you respect yourself or your dignity. What if people saw you and they might take a pic of it. Heh, I know I will take a pic of you and sell it on ebay.
