Talk with your doctor to make sure everything is okay.

Hope everything works out for you. You need all the rest you can get NOW, because you surely won't get much in the first few months after birth.

I hope you have a large family and good friends who will help.

Hugs...

What is sleep?....when you are this pregnant...as am I as well,
38 weeks and counting. Not only is your body sore, your hips, pelvis and back are offline and go numb with extra weight and pressure, perhaps you arms and legs as well as the circulation in your body is concentrated on your uterus! Your bladder feels full when it is not and last but not least...
You are nesting, which means your mind will be reeling with things you have to do, things you have done, anxiety on everything from when the other shoe is going to drop, your parenting skills (even if experienced), the impending delivery, finances, etc. etc. etc and the beat goes on...
My OB recommended Tylenol PM, however, I had never taken a sleep aid and though my body was less painful...my mind overrides the effect, I discontinued after 3 nights.
Maybe it's natures way of marathon training for the next few months of getting up every 2-4 hours to feed!!!!!

no, your body is going through all kinds of changes and it makes it hard to sleep. You're not comfortable, and the hormones are doing strange things.
I actually sat in my rocking chair to sleep the last month.
Hang in there, you're almost finished. Just keep thinking about that cute little baby you'll be getting.
