This is one of my absolute favorite movies but I also really wanted to be able to share it with my high school french class, for obvious reasons. I was wondering if there is a way i could get an edited version of the film that the school board would aprove of.

Avoir les enfants was a great movie for French class...If you want a good idea, take a disney movie and play it with the french dubbing...Its good fun!
You can always edit Amelie yourself to be sure there is nothing objectionable.

Apparently there were a few companies that offered edited movies which removed objectionable material, but the Directors Group of America fought to stop that type of editing, and the courts sided with the Directors. So, I doubt that you will be able to find a "G" version of "Amelie" anywhere, but below is a link to a website that mentions what you are talking about.
