i do the trip from the eastern shore of md/de area to the chester/goshen/middletown/monroe area rather frequently, but my car isn't reliable enough for the haul at the moment. are there options other than greyhound, or amtrak? how much would it cost for a cab or to hire a driver? it'd be just shy of a four hour drive... 200'sh miles. all reasonable suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

unfortunately, amtrak doesn't run lines through dover anymore. the lines are just used for ag. and freight transport. thanks for the responses. any more would be great, thanks.

You could probably pick up the Amtrack and take it right up there. I'm not sure exactly where you're at, but I know there's an Amtrack station in Aberdeen, MD and Dover, Newark and Wilmington, DE. It's a little less than $100.
