For some it is impossible. They shouldn't have beaten them, but a lot of zoos have a "shoot to kill" method if a dangerous animal gets out. Plus you might not know the whole story- they could have been hitting them with sticks to keep them focused on those people- and ignore the other people trying to flee or others trying to get tranq guns

Strangely put question. However, the leopards in question were wild. Cages dont come into it. Since their habitat is being destroyed in the rapid urbanisation going on in India, wild animals are being forced into urban areas in their search for food, coming into contact with humans more frequently, and sometimes attacking people. In rural India, if something or someone attacks people, they, or it, frequently gets beaten to a pulp. I saw it on a bus one time. The bus conductor sold a passenger a used ticket, so they dragged him off the bus and beat the s**t out of him!

I don,t know.I,m sure they will come up with reason that allows them to do so.I find them to be very selective in choosing wild animals to save it always seems to be the ones that generate the most publicity or cash. Human beings like it or not are animals but they don,t take their rights into consideration especially when their lives and that of their families rely on the game they eat.

The real question is why are large predators in cages anyhow. But I think someone that's responsible should pay for the abuse to all living things.
