Not a chance. With the powerful Yanks and Red Sox already leading the way at 1 and 2, and the Blue Jays' emergence as a contender, the Orioles seem to be in the wrong division at the wrong time.

o.k.. here is it is going: Baltimore has a triumphing season for the 1st time because baseball got here into existence. Tampa Bay falls back to the cellar and Toronto hits a chilly streak on the tip of the season. The Yankees and pink Sox conflict for first yet they the two make the playoffs besides. The O's end interior the middle of the %. this year and win a Wild Card spot next year as long as they do no longer piss away their terrific gamers.

I don't think it will happen anytime soon. The Orioles are not a better team than the Red Sox or the Blue Jays.

Until somebody beats the Yankees or Red Sox, I'm not convinced they will be in the top 2. Toronto has really improved and after watching them last year after they made all those moves, I think fourth place sounds about right.

They won't finish better than fourth until they make sense and bid for a couple of really good starters, or bring them up from their farm system, which seems unlikely. At least they got Ramon Hernandez first.
And I'm an O's fan.

They could finish 3rd if the Blue Jays lose Halladay and a few key hitters over an extended period of time.

I dont think so, the Red Sox, Yankees, and Jays made great offseason moves. Even the Devil Rays are Ok. So I say 4th or even 5th.

they need to get their stuff together. id say that its between them and the jays for 3rd place while the sox and yanks duke out first along with the devil rays in the covenanted 5th place spot

maybe. but if they do it won't be any higher than 3rd. the sox and the yanks are to stacked. so only if one of those teams completely die out no chance.
