These females teachers should be given the sane prison sentence as their male counterparts. For some reason we have a double standard in this country. Most men receive ten years for such a thing. Women lose their teaching license and receive therapy. Then they end getting paid large sums of money to apear on tv to tell of their crimes.
I remember seeing that teacher who got pregnant by her student twice and then they married after she was released. She was on Larry King and callers were calling in and treating her as if she did a good thing. Someone actually paid a million for the wedding video. Overall she did seven years in prison, but that was after she blew all the chances the courts gave her. In my opinion still wasn't enough time, not to mention she is now benefiting from her crime.

I think that they should get the same punnishment as their male counterparts, but because they are women they get a light sentence and the students they have RAPED are viewed as super guys because they banged the teacher, but the girls who were raped by the male teachers are viewed as whores and ect, and have people telling them that they must have "asked for it". So I think that it's not hot at all and they should do harder time than what they do.

It's not hot! I have a son and I would not want him sleeping with any teacher be them female or male. They are not there to fall "in love" with their students they are there to teach them.

Actually I think it's just as sick as it is when the roles have been reversed and it was Male teachers and female students.
Inappropriate sexual contact is NEVER acceptable. They need to be treated in the exact same manner as their male counterparts.
