It pisses me off. Prices have not gone down, but oil has dropped to $50.71 a barrel today....same price as before the war when prices were around $1.89/gal for gas.....

But, being a capitalistic society that will charge you whatever they think youre willing to be bent over a barrel for, you have to accept it I guess. We've been paying $2.40+/gal for the past two years, so it is here to stay. Be ready to hear about more record profits.

Strange when one day the barrel price goes up and the next day an increase at the pump...on the other hand, when barrel prices go down there is never a lower price at the pump or maybe in a month or so it will go down an penny or two...and your favorite politician that you voted for becomes deaf..

My car is a gas/methane hybrid. When gas prices rise I just drive more on methane.

right now in my town its 1.94 but hubby says it'll go up during traveling season as always....
