i need as much help as posible,whats your opinion in renting an apt??if you were to rent or if you are renting wat did u look for???

I'm currently looking for an apartment to rent and I'll tell you what my guidelines are.
I need a place that's close to my school. I can't be filling my gas tank all the time just to get to class.
I need an apartment that accepts pets. I have three cats and I want to take the with me.
I need something that isn't entirely too expensive. The rule of thumb is that you have to be able to gross your month's rent in one paycheck. And if you're going to have roommates, it's the combination of everyone's paychecks.
I'd also like something that's close to my parent's house so I'm not too far away.
If you're looking to rent an apartment, I suggest you make your own checklist so you know you're getting what you actually want.

Well I looked for a good safe place at a rate I could easily afford. Renting is a great because there is free maintenance for problems and in general it's a really great deal.
