Has she said something racist? And why is it at world leader level? Its a tv program full of wanna be z list celebs who wanna make a name for themselves and all have secret plans when they leave the show. Dont pay attention to them, if fact don't watch it. these people don't deserve the viewing figures. C4 should be taken to court over the crap they put on telly.

I think that bullying is complex, because people pick on anything that is different from them in order to try and degrade or insult other people. It is quite clear that there is racist bullying going on in the house, Jades 'Shilpa Poppadom' comment last night unfortunatly puts her in the same bracket as the others who made snide comments about 'eating with their hands', ' f**k off back home', 'the indian', mocking her accent and so on. All of those are racist, in the same way if I was arguing with a camp gay man and started to mock his mannerisms and way of talking then I could be accused of being homophobic.
The class issue is an important one, Shilpa is from a middle class family and has lived a much more wealthy life than Jade (until recently of course, we should not forget that in the last few years Jade has not been short of a penny or two, either). However the class antagonisms have become merged with racial antagonisms as well, proving that even well off Asian people canot buy their way out of racist discrimination.
BB has given us a window on what is common currency in the UK, low grade nasty comments designed to insult and abuse someone, especially their racial background. This is unfortunatly all too common.
However C4 should be ashamed of their blatant attempt to increase their viewing figures by letting this go on as long as it has. Giving all the profits from tonights eviction calls to charity is a desperate attempt to win back some moral capital, don't buy it!

I think Jade is so racist by the way she shouts & looks at Shilpa. She should be thrown off the show & left to rot in the gutter.
Jade & some of the other women are very sad & brainless.
I watched a small amount the first night & a little more of this rubbish tonight. I will not be watching the crap again as it is not at all entertaining.
As for the other girls laughing they are as bad..
It is disgusting.
Having said that I hope that Shilpa wins if it is to stay on Air.

She's not guilty of direct racism as such, but she is gulty of the negative reinforcement of racial streotypes, which is just as bad. I bet if I were in the BB house I would be accused of wearing a skirt (I'm a proud kilt-wearing Scot!). She is mixed race but why should that stop her being racist anyway? I am white and been on the recieving end of racial abuse from non-white people. Whilst I totally accept that white people are the main instigators when it comes to this sort of unacceptable abuse, it goes to show that anyone is capable of it regardless of colour or caste. Shilpa Shetty is clearly a woman of high morals and this grates against Jade Goodys lower-class naivity. Jade is on the defensive because it is totally clear that she is just as common as muck compared to Shilpa.
On a personal note, I think that Jade, and her mother, and her entire family of whom we have been the unfortunate viewers of, are a bunch of uneducated, criminally ignorant lavatory-scum. I hope Channel 4 goes bust over this and that the Goody Clan end up back in the depths of their own filth and obscurity where they belong. She got her completely undeserved infamy by pimping herself on telly and now she thinks she's a top-class celebrity. Well she's just a ******* chav of the lowest order.

Z list celebs? Have you even seen the programme. I wouldn't say she's been racist but shes acted like a complete **** and tried to bully shilpa. So hopefully the piblic will see sense and make sure she doesnt have any kind of career afterwards.

She did refer to Shilpa as 'Shilpa Poppadom', also Danielle said something about Shilpa not being able to speak English properly and apparently Jack called her a 'Paki' which C4 was quick to deny saying he'd actually called her a cu*t!!!! Nice bunch eh!
I'm not sure if Jade is being racist, but I do know she is ignorant sow and a nasty piece of work.

Jade is racist! She looks racist and she has said things that are classed as racist. Maybe you people posting here are not brown people yourself, therefore you probably don't have any idea. When she (AKA PIG-FACE) was pretending to have forgotten Shilpa's surname, one of the names she called her was Shilpa Poppadom (or something like that) - Which in my view IS racist. She's got nothing bad she can say about Shilpa, so she makes fun of irrelevant things.

She hasn't said anything racist and even if she did who cares, shes a dumb@ss and so are her thicko sidekicks who laugh at her bullying. I used to like Jade goody, now I think she is a dirty common troll bag who needs a kick in her big horse face chops! so basically why would they want to even entertain the idea that what she says is offensive, she probably doesn't even know what the word racist means!
