Yes some of my favourite clothes are preloved from either a consignment store or from a charity store .. I love them even more if they were an absolute bargain.... I started as a teenager on a budget and its one of my favourite things to do if I'm needing a bit of low key retail therapy.....its amazing what you can find especially in wealthier suburbs .once I got a beautiful unworn white cotton broderie anglais Givenchy bra for $2.
Simple pleasures !!!

I mainly buy books in them. There are certain authors who's books I like to keep and I buy them in a bookshop, but anything else that I just want to read once then dispose of I get in charity shops and also books and the odd toy for my little boy. When I've finished with them I take them back again!

You can get some really good bargains in charity shops, especially if you go to one in a posh area like Kensington in London.

I do and have been to many charity shops all over the UK,it's my way of helping where I can and in return I get what I want, and sometimes charity shops are the most unlikely places you find thing you been looking for .for a long time.not just for me but friend an family and whatever it is , it's always appreciated. no matter where it came from. I have my own personal faves cancer research, children ,b.h.f. scope and the animal shops too.love them.

Yes, always have. When young I was short of money, now I'm not but I still enjoy the unexpectedness - you never know what you'll find. I also donate my unwanted stuff to them, which reduces guilt about buying too many clothes. Recycling, innit ?

I go there because it is a charity shop, but I only purchase things that I like. I've never been told that I had to go though, so I suppose I do it because I want to.
