Can you buy multiple morning after pills in 1 pack, or do you just buy 1 pill?

Thanks.

I think the kind they're using now is PlanB, which is 2 pills in one pack. You have to take both to give it a chance to work, though.

There is also a way to use regular birth control pills as a morning after pill. You can ask your doctor or a family planning place for information on how to do this.

Planned Parenthood, if you call the phone number in the phone book, can get you emergency access to these pills 24/7.

You'll most likely only get the one pack. In one pack, there are two pills. You're suppose to take one after you got the pack and then the other one 12 hours later. It's just the way it works. Then in a few days, you'd get your period. However, morning after pill isn't very effective and it'd be more effective to get on bc pills rather than use morning after pill all the time. with bc pills, there's at least a 96-99% effectiveness if you take it at the right times and it's only around 70ish% for the morning after pill.

No the hospital will only give you one. The morning after pill is the equivalent of 6 birth control pills, so you might just want to do that.

See a doctor. Certainly, you can sometimes get it over the counter … but you’re performing an oral surgery with medicine. Would you want to operate on your own hand with advice from ppl like me on YA??? No, I think not!!! U’d call a doctor. Learning to work with doctors and other adults (parents, councelors, pharmicists, and yourself) is a very important part of your development into independance.

In addition to the physical changes the “morning after pill” provides, there is a spiritual impact it has on you. I caution you to take a deep look at your sexuality. What is it (physically & mentally)… what do you want it to be (meaningless, or bonding to the man you share it with) …It seems that when women take these steps they seem to be saying that the man they shared the experience with is disposable and that their sexuality is something that needs to be medicated like a disease. I don’t think sexuality is a disease … I’d hope you take the time to soul search during this major event in your life.

i'm also 14 and my doctor gave me a prescription for it in feb. i think almost every store with a pharmacy sells it. i usually get my prescriptions from walgreens. the pill didnt work because i took it too late. you have 72 hours to take it after unprotected sex. i'm on medi-cal so i dont know how much it costs, sorry. i dont think you need a parent if you have a prescription, not sure about without one.

Here's a question back! Why not prevent a pregnancy, instead of kill it after sex? If you'd have given the birth control pill that much thought, you would not need the morning after pill!!!!!!!!!
