First the bible doesnt actually say the earth is 6000 years old. People have intrepreted this threw using the ancestory from adam to Jesus from who lived in between the two. and adding up the years of how long each lived. Yet it may be that they only included the ancestory of people who made a difference somehow and not EVERY singe person. But you also have to consider that Adam and eve May have been the first man and woman but not the only man and woman. The bible only says they were the first not the only in the time period. So it is possible either way. I dont discout either argument both has some merits to it
