well. my boyfriend got the dvd, HE LOVED it. then he put it on for us to watch it together....I fell asleep ( i was tired too but still!). i am sure it has good things/twists, BUT there is a constant soundtrack music that really made it hard for ME to follow the long dialogues behind his mask to boost!! ( and makes one sleepy)
but maybe it was just me....:)

It was all right, but I thought the Man in the Mask (actor Hugo Weaving) talked too much; without that, there's probably about 30 minutes of actual movie.

It was EXCELLENT and I recommend it highly if you like 'sf/fantasy' movies. It's not really sf/fantasy, but is more a 'cautionary tale' but it's so good that after we saw it in the theater I couldn't WAIT for the DVD to come out so we could own it. The 'lead actress' is SUPERB, by the way ... she doesn't seem to be 'acting' at all ...

I really liked the movie. The whole idea of the movie is really creative. Natalie Portman is a great actress. The movie really comes together in the end which rarely happens now.

very good movie. the man behind the mask is the same guy who played the leader of the elves in Lord of the rings, and mr. smith from matrix.

I really liked it.
it is rather "Big Brother/1984" and some things were quite obvious, but, overall, a fine film
