I store a back up of all computer and digital photos on a disk and keep them along with social security cards, birth cert., and military doc. in a fire safe box. So I wouldn't worry about them. But I would grab the big tub of photo albums and baby things. That would be irreplaceable to me. Every thing else would be able to be bought again.

Though I know an aunt that had a house fire recently. (in the middle of the night) She grabbed her false teeth, glasses, and fake boobs. (she had breast cancer and had to have them removed. She hadn't got permanent ones yet.) But she came out of the house butt naked, holding her teeth and boobs. That is what mattered to her most.

My journals-I've got about 6 years worth in a box under my bed.

Or maybe I should let those burn and grab the photo albums :) It'd depend on if I cared anymore if anyone read them.

It's a toss up between my computer and my guitars.

... I could probably manage to shove my computer under one arm and at least two guitars in the other. I'm pretty nimble.

My purse (has everything in it), my disk case (has my writing in it), and a porcelain box that is the last thing my father ever gave me before he died.
