is it big enough?

It appears from theory and astronomical imaging that, as of now, there is not enough matter by 90% to keep the universe from stopping let alone reversing its growth. This includes visible as well as dark matter. So the universe should keep on getting bigger forever.

As to the question, "Is it big enough," that depends on your definition of big enough. For me it already is too big because it appears that it will be centuries before we can travel to other stars because we can't go fast enough and the stars are so far apart.

There is no limit to how big the universe can get.

No, it will get bigger. You must expand your mind, otherwise it will be incomprehensible the sheer scale of what we are talking about. The universe is already far bigger than you imagine.

The universe has to have a maximum size.
It is likely it has already reached that limit.
It will take as long to go out of existence as it took to reach it"s maximum size.

11 dimensional string theory has not produced anything, and is possibly evidence of paranoid sabotage of science.

It is possible that the 7 dimensions of space that are not perceived are mathematical deception, and therefore string theory is a theory of nothing, as you will find if you read the wikipedia article on string theory all the way to the end.
