If so, are there any other examples?

That's how I feel when I'm walking on my treadmill. I walk and walk and go no where. I see nothing. The scenery never changes. I can walk for miles and sweat can be dripping down my spine and what have I gained?? Well...... hopefully nothing. Hopefully I'm losing those additional calories from eating that last cookie. Hmmmmm........ so have I actually made progress afterall?

Hmmmmm...... chewing gum gives us fresh breath...... can sometimes pull little particles from our teeth. Maybe chewing gum has benefits as well. Maybe..... just maybe its all in how we look at everything we do. ;)

Yes. The Internet as a whole is also proof, based on how much time peeple must spend on it while at work.

You know, I have never thought of that before. That is really neat! It most likely is.

Another example would be:

slamming a swinging door
slamming a revolving door

No, I 've chewed gum, and had it fall apart in my mouth, It sort of just melted away. so there is progress when chewing gum.

no. I once worked on a piece of grape Bubblicious so long it broke down and turned into a mushy gray tasteless gob. That, to me, is progress.
