In Romeo and Juliet. Whos' fault was it to cause Romeo and Juliet to die?

While most would say it's their families faults because of their dislike for each other, the two could not be together. Others may think it's the star-crossed lovers fault because of their impetuousness . But I prefer to think it's the priest's fault for giving Juliet the idea to fake her death. Thus leading Romeo to believe that his lover was gone, causing him to take his own life. Somebody should have told him she was only faking!

it was both of their parents fault because they were fighting against eachother, it was hard for romeo and juliet to share their love for one another like they wanted to

It was no one particular person's fault. It was caused by the family feud between their families.

From memory it was their decision to die together.They were young and in love.It was partly the parents as well because they did not want them to be together.

it was their own fault they were young and impetuous and they did not look fully at the consequences of their actions and in the end they themselves made decisions that led to their death

They were victims of circumstances....this is where the phrase "star-crossed lovers" comes from.
