Overall, I've heard MAC is the best. For those who have used both, how do they compare? Do UD/HC eyeshadows have the same quality and lasting power as MAC?

mac is the best UD has an incredible mascara that i like but thats about it. MAC has high quality make up that is long lasting and rich in color. no doubt the best make up ever and worth every penny

I personally do not like MAC at all but I love Urban Decay. I have a hard candy eyeshadow that lasts longer then any others I have other used, but MAC does seem to have more colors.

MAC is a much better quality product than Hard Candy or Urban Decay. The only reason I use Hard Candy or Urban Decay is when I'm looking for a particular color.
If you're looking for the best quality eyeshadow though, regardless of color, I would definitely recommend Lancome'. They have awesome eyeshadow.

I like MAC better. You could say that Urban Decay's makeup is a lot more colorful, but the MAC brand has much more of a selection. The MAC makeup lasts a lot longer, and you get more for your money.

I think MAC has the best quality for a more diverse group of people where as UD/HC is usually only best for certain types of skin and people. MAC is the best

I love MAC. Urban Decay has some neat products, but as far as quality, i find mac better.

Bare Minerals, MAC, Beauti Control, Maybelline or Cover Girl for shadows and blush

mac's products have 173 ingredients and some are pore clogging ones and may be harmful to you. so i would say urban decay, i still like mac and i use it but i use very little of it

MAC... BY FAR. Before it became public, back when makeup artist were the only one's to get the product, it was the most popular for its stability, it stays on you longer, and its famous for making the famous look amazing...

I like MAC.I like there tinted moisturizer and eye-shadows.Urban Decay have nice lip glosses.I never worn Hard Candy, but I would like look more into it.But if I had to choose, I would pick MAC.Hands Down !
