Yet I love the American version of The Office. What's wrong with me?

I'm the opposite. What little I've seen of the British shows, I find them amusing, not great but mildly funny, and somewhat compliant within British societal norms (I worked there for a while).

Whereas I cannot abide the US one. These people (Steve Carell's character in particular) are so office inappropriate that no one would last a day without being fired for cause on any day in any real company without exception. Can you say state labor board, federal lawsuit, and damages. Please!!!!!

I frankly do not understand how this has not become a bigger issue against the show than it is.

CSI would be more appropriate material for a comedy.

A comedy about Iraq war wounded would be in less bad taste.

Your lacking what some of us people call a GOOD sense of HUMOR.....Also not all Americans get the British (and there sense of comedy)
