He can't stop talking about how much he weighs and that he is overweight. How do I make him realize that his weight does not bother me. When I am honest, he thinks I am just being nice and considerate. I am not. I truly don't care about his weight. How do I make him realize this fact. He is totally self-conscious in bed and this is completely unecssary. He is about 6'3'' and maybe 275, but this is just a guess because I never think about weight

I am thin

Answer him with your affection. Your body language will likely be more powerful.

He will still have a self image problem as long as his weight bothers HIM however.

Besides, "I love you just the way you are," there is nothing you can say besides, "don't you trust me?" and when he answers 'yes,' say, then "trust my judgement." "I accept you and I love you and I think your perfect FOR ME, just the way you are."

HOWEVER, I have a feeling its not "you" he has a problem with but himself. So, offer to help him with HIS diet (not yours) and his exercise program. Sit on his feet for sit ups, go to the park while he jogs, encourage him to be active! But, if he feels your pushing, remind him he's the one unhappy, NOT YOU!

Good luck, this is truly a difficult situation. The BEST ANSWER I could give is simply Weight Watchers, where he can see the results and get encouragement and ideas from others going through the EXACT same thing!!!

If he wants to go off on another tirade, just listen to him. Then tell him, "So?", give him a kiss, and change the subject.
Don't make a big deal about it. If he doesn't get it, then there's really nothing more you can do.

You can't convince him that his weight doesn't matter because he is convinced that it does. It's in his head and unless he can feel secure himself, nothing you say is going to change him.

Snuggle into him, tell him how good he looks (leaving size out of it), hug him, touch him, smile when he takes off his clothes.

Actions always speak louder than words. Don't "tell" him, "show" him how you fel about him.
