Yes - If you are getting regular Social Security benefits - You can even move outside the United States and get the same monthly social security payments. Many retirees do this because of lower living costs in some countries outside the U.S. - The only exception would be if you are on SSI - a needs based welfare type program, for disabled people and other people who didn't pay enough into the Social Security System.

I don't think moving affects SS, but if it does, I would say that you would get less in Oklahoma because the cost of living here is a lot less than in California. And, being that I live in SE Oklahoma, why the hell are you moving here?

Your social security card is a federal government card not a "state" card. It is the same where ever you go in the U.S. and the number stays with you til you die. You will have to apply for an Oklahoma state driver's license.

probably not, seeing as how Oklahoma and California have different living prices and such, ur ss would probably drop.....and plus, just from experience, you don't want to move to Oklahoma.....
