Where do I go from here?

Question

I invented and patented something a safety system that will increase car safety tremedously and would decrease crash injury rates tremedously. However, I don't want to sell the product rights to lets say, General Motors, because they will steal it from me, and I would get nothing. It would have to be integrated into the car while it was being built, so there average person cannot install it themselves. I am really looking to make a profit. What do I do?
