there are 6 times as many bananas than strawberries

20 less strawberries than oranges

7 times more oranges than cherries

24 more cherries than eggs

less than a dozen eggs

1,518 ingredients in all

well if the eggs is less than a dozen start thier.
start with 1 and add 24 cherries to that,
7 times more oranges
subtract 20 strawberries
6 times bananas
then see if you end up with the total that you need

if you dont have what you need for the total then start all over with the number of eggs until you get it. It will take you less than 12 because 12 is a dozen
