The pain of being dumped arises from the vulnerability we allow when we let someone into our hearts. I believe it's necessary part of life, and personal growth. For every possible relationship, no matter how good or bad the outcome, there's something that you as an individual needs to learn from the experience. You need to figure out what the lesson is, take the pain, turn it into strength and move on with your life. I know that's easier said than done. But things can only get better, that's the beauty of the human mind; it allows us to retain the memories of the experience, but the pain fades.

I wish you the best of luck...

Well what do you want to do? Do you want him back? Is he worth it? If the answer is yes than forget the crying, the pills , and the flat iron and work on improving your best features and correcting your worst. Now if the answer is no; forget the crying, the pills and the flat iron. Work on improving your best features and correcting your worst....then move on. There are plenty of gay fish in the seas

Cry like a little baby, then head out to the local gay bar and pick up some othe guy. Suicide is the cowards way out. Jump back in there with both feet.

It's not the end of the world. I can promise you that you will be dumped many many many more times in your life. It's just part of living. Pick up the pieces, wipe your eyes, and move on with life. There are plenty of other fish in the sea; just be careful not to go for the ones that are floating at the top ;)

Dillon, he dumped you! He's not WORTH crying OVER! He betrayed YOU. You should be PO'D not depressed. Realize its his loss, not yours and do what the others said, move on. So, your single, its not the be all and end all of the world. There are a ton of guys out there dying to met someone like you, get out and meet them! Trust me, it might seem like the end of the world, but just look out the window, the world is still turning. Get over the dude, yeah, it hurts, but it will hurt worse to stay inside with the windows drawn!

Cry for a bit but then get up and shake it off. Most people have been dumped once, that is nothing spectacular. Just brush yourself off and move on with life.

Darlin', let me tell you a little secret Gloria Gaynor once told me ...

I WILL SURVIVE!!! As long as I know how to luv I KNOW I'll be alive!

I know it sounds trite when you're hurting, but there are a zillion men out there and any one of them could be your next ex-husband! Get out there and meet him!! And when he is gone, there is another around the corner because life is sweet and you are fabulous and anyone who can't deal with that can get the f--- out of your face!!

Deal with it! Move on, get a new boyfriend. Nothing else is going to any good. But try and stay friends with your ex. Its nice to have really close friends like that, if you can.

OMG!! NightBear01 = ROFL!! Fantastic answer! Love it.

And, honey, they're so right. It's gonna happen again and again and again. And I'm sure it hurts now, but you'll get over him in time.

I think now it just hurts the most. Seriously give it time!!
