As long as they have shelter against the wind and rain and snow, and some hay for bedding

Look at their winter coats! Better than yours, I'll bet. Horses don't get as cold as people do, and can withstand cold better than we think. As long as they have shelter from freezing rain and icy wind, they will be fine. Even if they don't, they will probably be OK. My horses ignore their shelters in the cold rain, and I wonder whether they are nuts.
People tend to baby their horses when there really is no need. As long as they are not sick and are well-fed, with plenty of hay, they are OK.

You seem healthy, why 8lbs? good the reality is that you will have the ability to free 8lbs really quick via using a short nutrition difficulty-free restoration, like a fluid nutrition difficulty-free or yet another loopy technique, besides the undeniable fact that the reality is that even to free 8lbs you wanna do it the great way, or you'll placed it precise decrease back on. start up up via eating a comfortable breakfast, cereal and a fruit. lots of water and a contact snack like yogurt till eventually now lunch. Then a sandwich, or wrap or some type of protein for lunch, water in user-friendly words, no soda. Then for dinner, keep on with tender concepts like baked fowl with a veggie, water decrease back, and in no way some thing after 7pm. Exorcise helps obviously, the better the better useful.

I just asked this question on another forum!(Except for a full grown appy mare :D) Anyways, as long as the mini has an adequate winter coat and shelter, it'll be fine!! If your worried maybe take it in at night and put them back out in the morning? It depends on what you want but they will be fine.

I have worked at places where they have many ponies turned out day and night. You must have a shelter though. Its not the cold that gets them its the cold wind.My horse and pony live outside in my front yard.Ive been doing this for years because my horse has a sensitivity to dust, the vet said living outside is much healthier.
This is the second year I blanketed my hosre.I only did this because he is 23.

Most horses in the wild stay out in the cold all the time. My minis come into my house and sleep at night. Yes. They are house trained.

I would think, if they have a place to get out of the wind and rain, arent underweight and have a nice winter coat, they should be just fine. Since they are smaller, they are actually going to be less exposed to the wind(being lower to the ground) and keep themselves warmer.

if he has some place to get out of the cold wind, then they should be ok. like a shelter or row of trees... something like that. if they have there winter coat(fuzzy) they should be able to handle it. just make sure they have plenty of hay and water that they can get to

Yes as long as they don't have thin winter coats. If they do have thin winter coats, you need to put blankets on them at night if it is supposed to get cold.
