Well, it depends on how u look at it. If you are thinking..all living things die, then every day u are alive, u know that u could die tomorrow. the answer would be yes. But if u think u are never gonna get old and your heart is never gonna give up on u. than the answer would prolly be no. What do u think??

My Mum told me one night she was ready to die, she'd had a good life and didn't want to fight illness anymore. She had a lifetime of pain and spent the last three years in bed. The next day she died in her sleep.
I have also been with a woman who was dying and she was in a lot of pain. Suddenly she smiled and then closed her eyes and stopped breathing.
Did they know? Yes I think so. Do we all know? I don't know.
It's not maudling it's a very interesting question.

I really think that my Dad knew he was dying. The night before he died my Mom said he held her really tight as they lay in bed. Something he didn't normally do. She also said he was making references to him not being around much longer. My mom, thinking he was just messing with her would tell him to shut up and quit talking that way. Now that she looks back she knows he wasn't just joking around. So yes, I think some people know when they are about to die. There are also some who never saw it coming.

It depends. If you die really suddenly, then you don't realise. If you die slowly, from an illness or something similar, then of course you will know that you are dying. But in my opinion you should never believe that you are going to die. It's possible to live longer that way.

Some yes... others, no. Some people are more self-aware than others in matters ranging from physical health to emotional welfare.

I reckon you get a premonition a couple of seconds before you leave but not enough time to communicate it.
