Ugandan dictator Idi Amin was obsessed with Scotland & the way they ran their country so he referred to himself as the King of Scotland & even took on some Scottish Traditions such as wearing the traditional clothing. Kilt & all!

I believe that among the many other honorary titles Idi Amin awarded to himself, was the title of King of Scotland. I suspect that it was about as genuine as the dozens of medals and ribbons he wore.
