She was acting like she just popped a couple of pills and she hardly spoke , like they weren't letting her. Everytime she asked the contestants what they were going to sing seemed like she was in a different place.............i don't know it was really weird. she kept drinking water like every two seconds and making those obvious "i'm intoxicated" movements one makes when high or drunk. when we were watching it i was the only one that could notice it. did anybody else? i'm not crazy am I? that's a rhetorical question.

I noticed it, she was all over the place and seemed like she was in her own little world. That women needs some serious help

Of course - it's the same thing every year - they are all talking about all of her recent interviews in local towns as well. She has had - ummmmmmmmm - issues - for a long time. She always has an excuse. I feel sorry for her - I actually like her. She just doesn't come clean with her problems. She has abuse problems and whether it's from needed pain pills or WHAT - she still has them. They added the guest celebrity judge Jewel to the mix last night - notice that they let her talk and Randy and Simon were talking a lot - not so much with Paula - they want her as quiet as possible. But even when she was sitting there quiet - she looked weird too. The RIGHT thing to do would be for her to step up to the plate - admit she has a problem - and go to rehab and take care of it. They just keep covering it up - she keeps trying to lie and cover it up - and it's sad - and it's wrong and she needs to take care of this.

Hmm I had heard rumors that she liked to drink a lot and there had been times during previous seasons that I thought she was either high or tipsy. But I guess since she's famous she's getting away with it. You know sometimes when an actor has a job they aren't crazy about and they have a contract they will do crazy stuff that really isn't breaking the contract but a way to get out of it that could be a reason hahah. We'll have to keep an eye on her.

Paula has always been drunk and/or high on American Idol. You're not alone. Many others have noticed this too.

Yeah, they did a story about it on the ten o'clock news after Idol...I think she either has a drinking problem, or is popping some happy pills or something. God, I wish I were so famous that people would pay me to drink on TV...

yeah my mom and I noticed that too. She was quite. Jewel was talking more than Paula. And usually Paula is like you have a great attitude, keep it up. Instead she was quiet. It was weird.

She consistently swears she isn't inebriated-yet has admitted to drugs that is affecting her. in spite of it is-my husband I the two observed she regarded out of it this night. you will see that an surprising difference in her eyes, habit, and speech-and specific we did word all you reported. Simon specific seems to have relaxing screwing around along with her whilst she's going inspite of the incontrovertible fact that those products-wierd, huh?

Apparently they do multiple tapings during any given day for various TV stations all over...she had two mics(one per ear) she was answering the Seattle questions in her ear and it was shown on the other area's TV station...

That's the way she always acts. I think she just had too many uppers that day. But she always seems to be high on something.

I only watched like the last 5-10 minutes of it cuz i had to study for exams....but i did notice that too....hummmmmmm.......interesting
