It sounds like he already has enough toys.
How about taking him out to a sporting event and just spend time with him.
Let him know your doing this because he is getting older now and you know he will be a man soon.
I wish my dad spent more time with me than give me toys.

Wishiwas is absolutely correct. Take him out to a sporting event or a movie or a concert or somewhere. Spend time with your kids make them think that you actually care about them. Alternatively, you can buy an itunes gift card, a game for the xbox, or extra minutes for the cell phone.

A soccer ball + outfit and a membership to a soccer club? Or any other sport he likes. It will get him involved with the sport, with the other people (if it's a team sport anyway) and it's a good change for him to be out and move around if he also has all the electronic devices he needs..

Listen, when I was 13, if my dad said, I'm not getting you anything for your birthday, but we can hang out, I wouldn't be pleased. Nintendo Wii is cool. Or take him somewhere (basketball game, something like that)

get him nothing unless he complete a list of long tedious house chores that would take you all day to do to let him know what you do for him. he sounds spoiled. i'm 13, and every1 in my neighborhood calls me the nice kid, so i know what type of people are from a short description, and you son seems spoiled

ask him if he wants to do paintballing or something. Paintballing is fun but it can be dangerous like getting major welts or huge brusies. Its also kinda expensive but if u buy the right stuff then its cheap and fun. If ur intersted try this site
