I was thinking, for Velentines Day, I'd take her to this fancy restaraunt I've been hearing so much about, and buy her flowers, something sexy, and something sentimental... But... I don't know what sentimental is or how to decide what is... Can you help me?

Sentimental just means something from the heart. Something that required a great deal of thought or work on your part. Flowers are still okay to give if you really think about it, don't just do red roses. Pick out a whole bouquet on your own using her favorite flowers. If you don't know her favorite flower (you should though) then do a little research into the meaning of certain flowers and you can share your newfound knowledge with her. She will smile and be very suprised. As far as something sexy depending on her taste you in a g-string might not do anything for her but then again...I'd avoid buying something sexy for her because it would send the wrong message "Here is something hot you wear so you'll turn me on..." Personally I would start with something like cooking her a nice romantic candlelight dinner with fireplace going, a nice bottle of wine or champagne, give her a nice bouquet of flowers, romantic music, perhaps an adlib-ed waltz about the kitchen...that kind of thing would make the night very memorable.

Remember that sexy is for the man, when you buy us something sexy it is to please you. Going out to eat at a fancy place is great, if you have to cook all the time, but if not, make sure this is somewhere she has really been wanting to go. Flowers die,but make a great go along with another gift surprise. Chocolate, the best quality you can find is always good since most women crave it, and it does make us nicer people. Jewelry now,,,thats the answer that every female loves. Just watch what you buy, always better off with a bracelett or necklace rather than a ring, unless you discuss right hand rings first, so that she doesnt get the wrong idea. (Unless your ready to pop the question) If you know of a special collection or interest she has, well then the options to you are limitless.
Just remember its the type of thought you put into your gift and the words written in that all important card, that is what she will remember for the rest of her life.
Dont get me wrong, dinner and flowers are great too, just wouldnt be my first pic.
I wouldnt worry to much if I were you, you posted this question so there is no doubt in my mind that you will do just fine.

Sentimental, in your context means to appeal to the emotions and feelings of love and romance. A sentimental gift for your sweetheart depends on what kind of a person your sweetheart is:-) A gift of this nature is very personal and there is usually some kind of connection involved...much like the personalized soap that Katecat30 mentioned. Another couple of examples, I gave my sweetheart a small token that had etched into it "Your heart's desire." It was a token that could be traded for just that:-) Another gift...he is a truck diver. I gave him a collectible belt buckle that had his favorite truck manufacturer's insignia on it. It has to connect in some way. I had a friend that had given his girlfriend a necklace that had a personally made pendent that reflected an idea or meaning within his relationship with his partner. Currently, I am also racking my brain to come up with something sentimental for my sweetheart (I really like the soap idea...and the "think of me when your dirty!:D ). I hope this helps in some way and I hope you have a great Valentine's Day!!
Check out the site below and browse it...it might give you some great ideas:-)

maybe get her something only she would understand when given to her only if you've been together for a long time, something that would remind her of how you first met, or your first date. and this cute little coupon book that has romantic coupons like one coupon would say "good for a massage" or " good for one kiss" and for something sexy, you should dress up like something she fantasizes about.
