I have met people who are extemists when it comes to Kurt Cobain admiration. They are such STRONG fans to the point where some have made a "Cobainism" type "religion". Why is this? They think he is a god, the best thing in music ever, the best thing in the world, the idol to worship... why?

I think there must be something in the lyrics that brainwashes people into thinking he was great. Back when Smells Like Teen Spirit came out, I jumped on the bandwagon, too, but after the "newness" wore off, I went back to my regular stuff. People think he was such a lyrical genius, so they worship him. The truth is that he was just a junkie heroin addict.

i suppose he lived the stereotypical rockstar life, lived fast, died young - i think his death immortalised him, if he was still alive now i think he would be washed up
