The above just detected a virus on my Comp.& asked if I wanted to delete or Quarantine it. I chose the latter simply because I recognised Java in the title. Can anybody tell me if I made the right choice. It was as follows
java.jar 4f011c4 Infected by Exploit.Byteverify.Gener....Should I now leave it in quarantine or delete the bugger. Thanx

i use to have mcafee and i would reccomend to delte it becasue if it says its a virus well it is and also i nkow some viruses tha make you think that their a certain program but really its not it just wants you to thinnk it java so that you wont delte it plus its not java becasue it says java.jar and the real java is java.exe and then it says its an exploit which is a virus so just delte it, trust mcafee it nkows what its doing

Norton does the same. I've had stuff on quarantine for ages. It's like keeping specimens. After a while I delete them.
