The bar in question is Firewaters of Hackensack. I would like to know who owns this bar or how to go about looking up the owner. An internet search only turns up basic information like their address and phone number. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A bar has to
1. have a state sales tax permit (issued by the state)
2. have a liquor license (issued by the state liquor authority)
3. have a business license to operate (issued by the local township)
You can try contacting any one of those agencies to see who holds the license. The license might be held either by the owner (whose name will appear on the license) or by a corporation or holding company that the owners are operating the bar through.
You could also go to the bar. The bar will typically have their business license up on display and it will show who the license is issued to.

Also go to Hackensack city hall, bureau of land records, or city clerks office. They have a list of all property owners in the city.
