Alright,
1st question:
I`ve got these white things on my nails, my mother says they are cutical peices, but they won`t go away. How do I make them go away? And, what are they?
2nd question:
how do I do a french manicure? Tell me how, and what stuff I need to buy to do it.

your mums right...and theres not really a way to get rid of them..maybe try drinking more milk (calcium) - am not entirely sure that works though..and here are some really easy french manicure instructions that i use:

you can get the nail polishes from any department or beauty or drugstore...

In regard to the white spots-- I have them too. I've heard that they can be caused from the person not consuming enough calcium, and I've also heard that they show up if you smash your nail or bump it into something hard. Second, the French manicure.. You'll need two (or three, clear, for the top coat) colors of nail polish. One should be peachy (or the color of your nail) and the second should be white. Coat your entire nail in the peachy color. Carefully draw a thin line on the edge of your nails to resemble the white in your nail. Do to each fingernail. Let dry and if you want, apply a top coat, clear, to seal in the color. The manicure should last for a few days. good luck! ;)
